Reindeer furs and mohair throws are enough to make you cosy up this winter. With a base palette of red, brown and black, this trend sees rustic and contemporary combine, for a Christmas that uses traditional textures but with Scandinavian lines. John Lewis replicates a popular angular candelabra design, whilst Future & Found go festive with a structured clothes horse (I mean Rudolph). Department stores go wild for reindeer trends this Christmas, with photographic printed cushions, faux fur throws/rugs and even novelty tea towels and bed linens.

Gold, Grey & Glass

I think it's safe to say that it's gold overload this Christmas with table tops being dominated with shining decorative accessories of all shapes and sizes. H&M home have outdone themselves this year with beautiful grey and gold styling. I particularly love their gold star table cloth, teamed with golden and glass accessories, such a dainty touch, perfect for Christmas. Glass vases, vessels and jars are topped with brass rims and stoppers such as the decanter from Anthropologie. Your bog-standard bauble gets a revamp by Kristina Krogh with the release of her christmas ornaments, a simplistic decorative feature with reminiscent outlines of Christmas.

For a raw and rustic Christmas, be inspired by the natural elements. Recently spotted on Raw, blogger and stylist Peeta Peltola focuses on the texture and beauty of pine branches for the creation of simplistic wreaths, a beautiful decorative touch next to her calendar. Anthropolgie never fails to impress year on year, with a flamboyant collection of baubles and decorations; one of my MANY favourites is this delicate glass and feather bauble, such a keepsake. Inspired by the textured elements, RowensCo creates beautiful block illustration and Fig + Yarrow's Winter herbal steam is the perfect skin detox, another way to indulge in Christmas Pine.

Eastern Influence

For something a little different, this Eastern-esque trend is for those who like to twist traditions, with a warming palette of vibrant metallic shades, Moroccan style patterns and decorative accessories, such as paper lanterns and tassel baubles. It doesn't get much more decadent than golden crackers adorned with peacock feathers from Liberty London, I don't think I'd have the heart to spoil them! And finally Nkuku has a wide selection of copper and coloured metallic accessories, decorative features that could perhaps be continuously used for any fabulous occasion?
